The fifth episode of my Life of Leisure contains...just one thing, actually. (Subscribe to the show here) This week I'm taking a temporary detour from the RDsLoL formula. There will be no three pillars, no Katamari Music, 'Stuff' to speak of...not even any House Hunters. In taking this path for episode (1.5), I feel I'm righting a perceived wrong. You'll understand more as you listen, but for now, just understand that I've been meaning to introduce you to a friend of mine. Some of you will already know this individual, others will not. Sorry to be so cryptic, but it wouldn't be an effective tease if there wasn't an appropriate element of mystery. So please take my word that you'll enjoy the episode, and click away.

The third episode of my Life of Leisure includes many things: Firstly, my life of leisure is now available on iTunes. Subscribe here. 'Stuff I'm Reading': With the weather turning warmer, a listener tweets into the show with a question about making the transition from sweatclothing to shorts. I answer this question. 'Stuff I'm Watching': RDsLOL mythic figure / Longtime House Hunters and House Hunters International host Suanne Whang is interviewed. She's one part filthy and four parts funny. Didn't expect that. I couldn't bring myself to bleep her elite-level swearing in this version of (1.3), hence the explicit tag. Please visit Suzanne's site, www.SuzanneWhang.com, to help Suzanne in her battle against cancer. 'Stuff I'm Playing': In a callback from Erik Malinowski's appearance in episode 1, 'Digital Dave' (from my Tuesday hoops game) is interviewed about his awkward mastery of the straight-on bank shot. Also: his secret alter ego is potentially revealed. I also debut 'This Week in Freudian Slips'. Additional thanks to Mikey and Buzzsaw.
Listener emails are part of my Life of Leisure. Some will be read on the show. Email the show at RoccosLifeOfLeisure@gmail.com. Twitter: http://twitter.com/RoccoDeMaro Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/rocco.demaro And again--please visit www.SuzanneWhang.com to help the ever-so-talented Suzanne in her battle against cancer. The 2nd fundraising event will take place April 17, 2:00 p.m. at the Matrix Theatre in Hollywood. Details & tix at http://www.wakingupfabulous.com/april17.html

The second episode of my Life of Leisure includes many things: Firstly, my life of leisure is now available on iTunes. Subscribe here. 'Stuff I'm Reading': Elite-level baseball blogger Craig Calcaterra of HardballTalk.com joins me to discuss issues pertaining to Major League Baseball's opening weekend. Star Trek: The Next Generation and Bourbon are discussed at length. 'Stuff I'm Watching': Something called 'belly bulge' forced it's way into my life of leisure this week. I was ambushed. 'Stuff I'm Playing': Keeping with the baseball theme on MLB's opening weekend, my friend Kevin Goldstein of Baseball Prospectus drops by to help out with my fantasy baseball team, ostensibly. There's also a bucket truck update in this week's episode, along with some love for my radio audience.
